Tasting Notes and Scores
The 2011 Corton-Bressandes Grand Cru feels a little muted on the nose, missing the fruit intensity that I have found on other vintages. The palate is medium-bodied with fine-grain tannin, clean and pure red berry fruit that finally emerges towards the satisfying, silk-textured finish. It leaves the quality to the last moment so you are left with a positive impression - however, I hope that the aromatics awaken in the next couple of years. Tasted at Flint Wines Burgundy 2011 tasting.
