90-93 ST

(one of two barrels were new): Bright, dark red. Very reduced nose dominated by smoked meat and oak, with raspberry and redcurrant in the deep background. Fat, rich and savory; more gamey and saline than fruity in the early going but there's good sweetness lurking. The tannins arrive late.
